if we really are supposed to be equal and american. then why should it matter what one’s race is?

when filling out documents, why is it necessary to know my race or have some kind of statistic?

we are all american. we dont need to cater to once race anyways.

so why must we identify ourselves? especially when the options, are usually inaccurate? only few times, have i come across a "mixed with 2 or more races" option.

so is race identification, just holding us further back from equality?

I don’t get it either. Soon, it would be a thing of the past. The only purpose it may serve is for documenting in medical matter…because some races have higher or lower tendencies with particular diseases, like blacks are rated higher in risk for hypertension and some asians in B-12 def.anemia.

i am in the process of manufacturing id cards. i want to know which printer is suitable for that purpose. i need the following information. 1. brand 2. configration 3. apprx. rate

Most all ID cards are printed on an ID printer, which is a thermal printer, typically with 3 color thermal ribbon cartridge, which uses heat to bond the color onto the ID cards. This is similar to Laser technology, but laser technology generally is a powder toner, like a copy machines. The standard laser printer is not water proof and wouldn’t last long for use as a actual ID’s.

There are many brands out there, and depending on the actual number you need printed, like if less then 50, or more then 5000 you will have different requirements. Best to have a company rep come demo any unit you are interested in trying out. You need to be able to actually see it print and the "speed" it prints. If you have thousand of cards to do the difference between 10 seconds each and a minute each is HUGE!!

because that’s what were telling us it would help prevent, when they rolled out this Flagship scheme of theirs,it would prevent or combat terrorism acts.

Cannot see it myself. People with serious intentions to do harm will forge any documents that are needed for the purpose. If the criminal were of British origins then they would be entitled to an identity card they could then travel the world go to a place like Yemen become indoctrinated as this young Nigerian man was and then climb aboard any plane going anywhere.

This government do not know how to spend our hard earned taxes quick enough so they came up with the idea of identity cards and to sell it to us they used the threat of terrorism.

Our security forces do a tremendous job and I for one am grateful for their vigilance but I do wonder what their opinion truly is.

I dunno please help me.

In my opinion the gts 250 is the best choice for your configuration, the ati 5750 is a little bit slower and the 9800 gt is an "old" card.

I am curious to the name of the actual mechanism, how it is constructed, and works.

they also are called – Key Reels
or – ID Reels
the same idea is at play in the "Retractable leash".

The thing that allows the chord to be pulled out, locked, released and retracted is called a tensator spring. It looks rather like a clock spring, but can be wound and unwound a much greater distance although the retraction force is a lot less than that of the clock spring. I think its named after the company that invented and manufactures it.
