Most of the time they don’t ask to see ID – you should have the "Attempt to Deliver Mail" that shows they
tried to deliver it to you. They can refuse, and then you’d need a parent.

I know in the states you really only need a pin or signature but it could be different there. And I’m talking other than a passport because I don’t want to be taking that everywhere. It’s not exactly safe for theft reasons. Thanks guys! I appreciate it much

You don’t need a photo ID but you will need a debit or credit card which works electronically on input of the PIN. The old type with signature and passport do no longer exist. Make sure that your cards are "open" for being used in Europe. Some U.S. visitors have made bad experience finding out that their cards were electronically declared invalid since their bank was not informed about the overseas travel..
