Hello,
Where could I buy chanel lanyards? to hold keys and to put around my neck? (In Australia)
Thankyou
Go on Ebay. I go on there frequently to look for lanyards because I collect them (Geeky I know…) but seriously, go on Ebay there’s usually thousands on sale. As for your Chanel lanyard, there is nothing on there but my best advice is to regularly check out Ebay.
Best of luck to you!
I need advice. I had an old garmin GPS that I was really fond of. It broke because I used it very heavily. I would weary it on a lanyard and scramble up rocks. I would drop it a great deal. I was using it for geocaching. I also marked way points to get back to my car. It was a wonderful tool to have. Now without a GPS obviouly there has been no geocaching going on. It was a used gift. People can slam on me for being destructive, but it was a very motivating way for me to be active. I have problems with health and geocahing was very therapeutic to me. My GPS was used before me lovingly and then given to me by a BF who was upgrading. I could then geocache by myself and I did a great deal and taught other friends as well. I just really need something that I can carry again around my neck. Does anyone have a suggestion of a good one?
I guess you could say I loved that GPS to death.
Mine was a Garmin and I do love garmin. I will probably go for it again. By the net I assume you mean ebay? Is that correct or if you have another site please say.
I have been told that an electornic compass is bogus by the rei people. I use one of the other types along with the gps. It is fine. This technology may have changed in the 3 years since they told me that, but I know how to use a compass auccurately and enjoy it, so I do not need that feature.
You can still find Garmin model 12′s on the Internet fairly reasonable, they make a great geocaching GPS. I see them on Ebay all the time. That Etrex is good also. If you want to spend more get one with atlas’s built in.
while looking for a flash drive i ran across this neck strap/lanyard to carry your flash drive around the office.
i assume it is a mistake, but what if it isnt? would you think your co worker was a little strange if he carried his flash drive this way ?

if this link takes you to a real neck strap, that means they fixed the page. email me for a photo of what the link took me to.
they took down the photo.
this is what the photo was.
until they take this down.

see, my school is gradually working it’s way to school uniforms. we first started by having to wear our i.d. cards on lanyards around our neck, and now i’m hearing that the true uniforms are going to start next semester. what do u think about them? anyone with experience want to tell me what it’s like, and if it sucks as bad as it sounds it would? thanks.
I think that school uniforms are notg ood at all. Students use their clothes to express themselves and if there are school uniforms then theyre is no way to express yourself. Also if you have a school uniform your wasting your money the school should rather spend the money on school’s needs and supplies. Plus its your body you pick how you dress yourself not the school. Like they all say its a free country. Hope this helped and i hope you dont get the uniform. Peace!
I’m trying to buy an item on ebay and cannot figure out what name it may be listed under. At disney world, when people are trading pins and wearing the lanyards around their necks, there is usually a larger anchor pin at the bottom. I want to know what you call it because I cannot come up with any in my search.
I specifically mean the charms you buy to hang from that snap swival hook at the bottom of the lanyard. What are they referred to with disney? They aren’t a "pin", so what?
I believe it is called Medallions. Or medals. Something very similar
You’re talking about the ‘anchor’ at the bottom of the lanyards that people buy as an extra.
I have that.
all the site i find say i have to buy 100 or more. i wanna make a custom one and have one ONE
Hi -
I have tried these sites myself – Hope you find what you’re looking for!
Some netbooks are light enough to carry easily in one hand. A wrist lanyard would secure against accidental drops without a significant weight penalty. The security slot provides a structurally rigid attachment point.
Good idea but I have never seen one included with a kensington lock. Try Targus.
I’m planning on joining the air force after I finish college. I just curious if they give free stuff, because I need a lanyard neck strap. I figure the air force has some nice ones. Your probably thinking this is a dumb question, but i need to talk to one sooner or later. So I figure if I can get a lanyard now, why wait?
if the recruiter has some on hand, sure. just ask. but ask a few questions about joining as well, so you don’t look like a hobo. LOL
I can’t find anything on headphones that have one wire longer than the other so that they can go around the back of the neck.
Does anyone know what the headphones are called?
The ones that don’t go inside the ear with a funny rubber bit on the end, but ones that just sit inside the ear
Also, what UK website can i get them from?
Does anyone know……….this has had me looking on google and other company sites for hours trying to find the right ones
I know that they arn’t called lanyard headphones because i don’t want the ones that have rope/string around the neck, just wire
Thanks, if you can help
Ben
they are called zune head phones
these suckers have magnets at the end of them so that they stay together
easier to walk around with
i do that all the time too with them around my neck with zune headphones
they cost about 25$ at bestbuy or future shop wall mart would have them too
I am looking for a case for my IPod 30mb which incorporates a lanyard so it will hang round my neck. I don’t always wear things with a belt and find that it falls out of my pocket when I am in the garden. I’ve tried tucking it down my bra ( as a 50 year old – I’m not too concerned about style) but thats not a perfect solution.
Serious answers only please!
You can buy an ipod wristband which holds the ipod and then you simply put it round your wrist. These only cost around ÂŁ10-ÂŁ20 in shops however if you looked on ebay you probably buy one much more cheaply.
However if you are looking to put it around your neck then you can always buy a plastic case which often has a little hole on the side to put a piece of string or ribbon through so you can put it round your neck. I have one and i have found it rather helpful.
it bugs me to have my phone in my pocket.
so i want a one of those things that hang around your neck and you can hang your phone on it but i want a cool looking one like say a zebra print or neon colerd one.
They have really nice ones at 5 below for like 3 bucks. All sorts of patterns and prints. Also, check out a dollar/value store.
i need a headline for a high skool newspaper about the students at that skool having 2 wear IDs around their necks including lanyards. i need it 2 have no personal opinions in the headline
A Whole Bunch of Gays are Buying into Gay Neck Thingies!
The ones that you can put around your neck.
Look in the sporting goods section, because they are often used for whistles, stopwatches, etc.
Ok, so this is sort of a hard one to think of. I have some plain lanyards (maroon) that I am going to have to sell for a project. I was planning to customize letters onto them, but it was much too expensive for just a school project. So my next idea was to iron on letters to them, but unfortunately the material of the lanyards won’t take iron-ons. I now have no time to go to the store and need to get this done! I have a lot of craft type decorating stuff. Any ideas for a fast and easy way to decorate a lanyard (the kind that holds your keys..like the long string that you can keep around your neck) in any way that will look good?
Ya know, I actually have no ideas on this. Hummm. . . maybe paint stenciling? . . . it has to dry but quick and cheap.
Flat neck lanyards are required for wearing and exhibiting IDs as most corporate sectors have made it a trend and it also appears smart. IDs are a must and displaying them is the necessity but it is also a fact that wearing neck lanyards causes skin rashes and problems when wore for long hours.
If you are looking for solution to these problems you have skin friendly and comfortable flat neck lanyards from Compucard. There are varieties of styles, designs and colors for you to choose from the wide range available at the site. There is facility for custom dieing too and the lanyards are available in various attachments also.
You have many optional attachments and depending upon your requirements you can decide upon the most suitable one. As the flat neck lanyards are available at much lower rate than that in the market, you save lot of money as well and end up with a great buy that has quality, lower price, durability and variety. You have the complete list in front of you on the web page and you can go through each of the style and description.
right, so i am currently doing media studies at school in year 11, and for my practical production i am promoting a nightclub
The items that I will be creating are as follows:
A main poster to be put up around towns and cities.
Small flyers to be handed out by pr’s
Wallet cards with design on
Money off coupons
A V.I.P Neck lanyard
Tickets
A menu hand out
and a goodie bag to be handed out in towns and citites.
My goodie bag will include:
A flyer
A wallet card with details about a taxi firm.
A wallet card with details of a cheap hotel and money off.
A wallet card for a reverse charge call, or a free coupon, with a code on allowing the patron, to phone three numbers in case of an emergency.
Money off voucher for the night club.
A complimentary pack of mints
A complimentary sample bottle of a alcoholic drink of their choice out of – Malibu, Smirnoff vodka, Archers Peach Schnapps or Baileys Irish Cream, miniture this is, about 10cl
A safety pack containing two ibuprofen, contraception and a card allowing females to emergency contraception.
20% off voucher for a retail store of choice
A mini mirror
i am settin up a "nightclub" in the uk poeople.
and i cant decide if the safety pack is too much, it was sort of meant to be a novelty joke, but i thought id put it in there, because people dont really think about hangovers and contraception when they go clubbing, but do you think that is innapropriate putting it in?
id love to hear your idead, and see if there is anything else that i could put in?
thanks a lot
You did not mention the thing I received that is my favorite.
One club gave us this stickers that had tread on them for our cell phones. So they do not slide out of pockets, in the car, etc. It works great and the club logo is now plastered on my cell phone.
Be careful with giving away bottles of alcohol, it is illegal in the US, and I am betting other places as well.
I work in pretty stuffy office. We wear ID cards on lanyards around or necks. I like to spice things up and wear unusual lanyards to wear at work. For instance, I found a Ramones lanyard that is great, but I’d like to find more odd, kitschy, subversive or downright weird lanyards. Anyone have any suggestions of places – particularly on-line where I can find them? (Can’t be too racy though.)
You can get laynards anywhere, with any theme, but it’s more fun to make them. That way, you express your personality and have a little fun at the office.
My colleague comes to work with "theme" laynards that are so much fun. She makes the lanyards using kits she buys on the internet (she buys the clips – do a search on "lanyard clips" on Froogle). For Valentines Day, she strung together plastic heart beads she got at the dollar store. For St. Patrick’s day, she braided green shoelaces together and put a couple of shamrock pins on it. For the Christmas holiday season, she actually found some tiny beads that look like Christmas tree lights and wired them (with a battery pack) so that they blink. For July 4th… well, you get the idea. I’ve even seen her make a lanyard out of candy necklaces wound around long phosphorus-filled plastic tubes (Halloween) that glow. For kitsch, try the "Oriental Trading Catalog", or orientaltrading dot com.
I’m not so daring (or resourceful). I simply went to my university’s site and purchased two — one with the university’s name, the other with its mascot theme.
is possessing a fake press pass illegal?
if it has the name of a real newspaper/agency?
if the name on the pass isn’t yours?
if you use the pass to gain entry to an event?
my friend works for the AP, and i scanned his press pass (with his permission). i took out all identifying info, put in a fake name, and printed it up nicely. then i glued on a passport photo from walgreens, laminated it, and attached a neck lanyard. i even "aged" it a little so it looks like i’ve had it for a while.
all in all, it looks awesome…reeeally awesome!
combined with a vest, and the right attitude, i think this pass could definitely get me into some cool shooting situations.
i’m considering making another with my real name, since my biggest concern is the legality of using a false name. any help??
thanks,
wiley snap
p.s. i’m not looking for any moral guidance here. please limit replies to legal issues.
illegal.
If nothing else if you are discovered inside a place you have no right to be in you are trespassing. But I am sure you would be breaking several other laws.
Can anybody tell me where I can buy those neck lanyards w/ the plastic cover on them to keep money dry and the such. Going on a cruise this week and forget to get one of those and now I cannot seem to find one. Located in the USA. Thanks!
A travel or luggage store would be your best bet – - the American Tourister store or Sharper Image for instance….
Have a good trip!
A uniform has never been complete without lanyards. As a child, I would always been fascinated looking at the colorful lanyards which the army personnel and police officials wore on their uniform. Especially, in the army each regiment would have differently colored lanyard and sometimes by looking at the lanyard of a person, you could easily tell which particular regiment an officer belonged to.
Now with many companies using lanyards as identity for their employees, I must say flat neck lanyards are really in vogue now. The lanyards sold on compucardInc.com are really beautiful. The advantage here happens to be the fact that you may have your lanyards custom-made according to your company’s requirements and you may place large orders too, so that you do not have to keep going back to them every now and then. The assurance made by the company that they do not in any way harm or spoil our attire or clothing in any manner, should be encouraging enough for the buyers. Sometimes the ordinary lanyards get stuck in our clothing material and damage them especially if they happen to be delicate ones.
i need just a plain black, blank (un printed) lanyard. one of those things that goes around the neck and has a clip on the end for keys and stuff. where can u find a place that sells them. i just need one, not like 50 or whatever.
You can probably get them at any office supply store. They are definitely availalbe at Office Depot, or online at http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/834608/Inch-Breakaway-Lanyard-with-Keyring/ They cost $1.60.
OfficeMax also has lanyards—and for a penny less.

I have also seen them at Staples stores, but online, Staples only sells them by the dozen.
Good luck!!
the ones that can be added to a lanyard or keychain to hang around my neck?

i was asking the same to a friend watching with me earlier this season. apparently, according to him, they are a hoaky trend amongst ball players right now (you’ll notice a few people on other teams wearing them too). They have magnetized titanium in the threads and superstitious and confused ball players think that removes bad energy or some such thing. kind of like those metal, nondescript, silver colored bracelets that were magnetized and had the two balls on the unclosed end that executives liked to wear in the late 90s and early 00′s.
I have to have 2 keys with me at all times & a couple cards (an ID badge, an electronic key card, etc etc). I’m trying to find a way to carry them all without losing them and not have to have a lanyard around my neck. Any ideas would be welcome. Thank you.
Scrubs have pockets. Put them in your pockets and pin the ID badge to your shirt.
