I’m in track and I have some medals from meets. However they didn’t come with a lanyard thing that goes around your neck. I’m looking for a way to organize them. Where can I buy a medal holder (like a rack) where I can hang them without the neck lanyard?

You could pin them to a board or put them in a shadow box frame.

Ok my vanity case isn’t just a box or whatever it is round!!! And it kind of has this small lanyard attached to it (not for putting around the neck). Also my round vanity case isn’t small it is kind of large…
Where do I put it? Inside my suit case or do I hold it? I can’t aboard the plan with 10 tonnes of make-up products can I? So do I hold it…. Or put it along with my luggage?

Remember you can’t bring fluids over 100ml on the plane and there are a bunch of rules for bags that are going on board so I suggest you put it in your suitcase if it can fit… You should put a photo on here of a similar vanity case so we can know how big it is and tell us what are you planning to put in it , but I already think that you should put it in your suitcase

Lol, I’m not sure if you know what these are, but when you carry I.D cards it’s attached to this long bit of fabric/ribbon and it goes round your neck. lol

so recently at my school everyone has gotten id badges on lanyards and some people wear them on their necks and some do other styles but i was wondering some cool ways to wear this? our school dress code is polo tucked in jeans/pants with belt.

I’m creating name tags that are held in neck lanyards for my school’s theatre arts house crew (the crew that shows people to their seats and takes people’s tickets). My problem is that I want people to be able to distinguish the house crew leads from the rest of the house crew so that others know to address the more experienced. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make the leads’ badges distinguishable from the rest of the house crew’s?

Does it really matter? Is this not a little bit of one-upmanship?
Make the housecrew leads badges a different colour to the others and increase the font size using the phrase ‘senior crew or similar’.

Your school should have them in the merchandise store. If you want something different, like a college lanyard, go to maybe Sports Authority, they might have them there. If you have a college merchandise store nearby, definitely check there.

Three days ago, I jumped off a swing. I had my camera around my neck on a lanyard. When I landed, my camera slammed into the lower part of my thumb, around where it connects to your wrist. I had immediate pain, and I put ice on it. There is a small bump where it hit, which hurts to touch, along with other areas around my hand. It is swollen, but not really bruising. I have practically full mobility, but it does hurt. If I let my arm hang, or allow my hand to go below my heart, it hurts, and somewhat throbs. Ibueprophen is somewhat helping. The pain goes down into my wrist, and up my hand. Is it possible I have a hairline fracture? I’m thinking of going to the doctors, but not sure if it would just be a waste of time…Any suggestions?

It could be a sprain, or it could be a hairline fracture. See the doctor to get an xray. Otherwise it may become swollen and very painful if not taken car of.

I wrote a sonnet for a college English class and was wondering if it is written correctly. I am most concerned about whether I have the right amount of accented and unaccented syllables. If you want to state your opinion of it, that’s fine too. Anyway, here it is:

But I think any craft/fabric store should sell it. Just look in the section which sells trimmings, lace, ribbon etc.

I got a rope burn on my neck. I had a lanyard on and I was swinging and the lanyard got caught around the chain and when I jumped off the swing it gave me a rope burn before it broke. Everyone keeps asking me how it happened and it’s getting annoying. It also hurts and I look stupid with a big red gash on my neck. How do I get rid of it? I have had it for 4 days. My dad told me to keep it dry so it will peel up. But now it’s itchy. What should I do?

But, to answer the question, rope burn is rope burn. It will heal on your neck, the exact same way it would heal anywhere else.

I’ve heard that placing your cell phone in the pocket near your privates is bad for your health and hanging it around your neck with a lanyard might be bad for your heart. So during school, I’d prefer not to place it in my pants pocket or hang it from my neck for the reasons I just mentioned. I also think it’s not good to put my phone into my backpack since someone might take it, so where should I place my phone during school?

i would put it deep in my back pack with a lil lock on that pocket and putting it in your back pocket wont hurt at all if you carry a purse put it in your purse then in your back pack
