I can’t find anything on headphones that have one wire longer than the other so that they can go around the back of the neck.

these suckers have magnets at the end of them so that they stay together
easier to walk around with
i do that all the time too with them around my neck with zune headphones
they cost about 25$ at bestbuy or future shop wall mart would have them too

I am looking for a case for my IPod 30mb which incorporates a lanyard so it will hang round my neck. I don’t always wear things with a belt and find that it falls out of my pocket when I am in the garden. I’ve tried tucking it down my bra ( as a 50 year old – I’m not too concerned about style) but thats not a perfect solution.

You can buy an ipod wristband which holds the ipod and then you simply put it round your wrist. These only cost around £10-£20 in shops however if you looked on ebay you probably buy one much more cheaply.

However if you are looking to put it around your neck then you can always buy a plastic case which often has a little hole on the side to put a piece of string or ribbon through so you can put it round your neck. I have one and i have found it rather helpful.

it bugs me to have my phone in my pocket.
so i want a one of those things that hang around your neck and you can hang your phone on it but i want a cool looking one like say a zebra print or neon colerd one.

Ok, so this is sort of a hard one to think of. I have some plain lanyards (maroon) that I am going to have to sell for a project. I was planning to customize letters onto them, but it was much too expensive for just a school project. So my next idea was to iron on letters to them, but unfortunately the material of the lanyards won’t take iron-ons. I now have no time to go to the store and need to get this done! You did not mention the thing I received that is my favorite.

One club gave us this stickers that had tread on them for our cell phones. So they do not slide out of pockets, in the car, etc. It works great and the club logo is now plastered on my cell phone.

Be careful with giving away bottles of alcohol, it is illegal in the US, and I am betting other places as well.

I work in pretty stuffy office. We wear ID cards on lanyards around or necks. I like to spice things up and wear unusual lanyards to wear at work. For instance, I found a Ramones lanyard that is great, but I’d like to find more odd, kitschy, subversive or downright weird lanyards. Anyone have any suggestions of places – particularly on-line where I can find them? (Can’t be too racy though.)

You can get laynards anywhere, with any theme, but it’s more fun to make them. That way, you express your personality and have a little fun at the office.

My colleague comes to work with "theme" laynards that are so much fun. She makes the lanyards using kits she buys on the internet (she buys the clips – do a search on "lanyard clips" on Froogle). For Valentines Day, she strung together plastic heart beads she got at the dollar store. For St. Patrick’s day, she braided green shoelaces together and put a couple of shamrock pins on it. For the Christmas holiday season, she actually found some tiny beads that look like Christmas tree lights and wired them (with a battery pack) so that they blink. For July 4th… well, you get the idea. I’ve even seen her make a lanyard out of candy necklaces wound around long phosphorus-filled plastic tubes (Halloween) that glow. my friend works for the AP, and i scanned his press pass (with his permission). i took out all identifying info, put in a fake name, and printed it up nicely. then i glued on a passport photo from walgreens, laminated it, and attached a neck lanyard. i even "aged" it a little so it looks like i’ve had it for a while.

all in all, it looks awesome…reeeally awesome!

combined with a vest, and the right attitude, i think this pass could definitely get me into some cool shooting situations.

i’m considering making another with my real name, since my biggest concern is the legality of using a false name. any help??

A travel or luggage store would be your best bet – - the American Tourister store or Sharper Image for instance….

A uniform has never been complete without lanyards. As a child, I would always been fascinated looking at the colorful lanyards which the army personnel and police officials wore on their uniform.  Especially, in the army each regiment would have differently colored lanyard and sometimes by looking at the lanyard of a person, you could easily tell which particular regiment an officer belonged to.

Now with many companies using lanyards as identity for their employees, I must say flat neck lanyards are really in vogue now.  The lanyards sold on compucardInc.com are really beautiful.  The advantage here happens to be the fact that you may have your lanyards custom-made according to your company’s requirements and you may place large orders too, so that you do not have to keep going back to them every now and then.  The assurance made by the company that they do not in any way harm or spoil our attire or clothing in any manner, should be encouraging enough for the buyers.  Sometimes the ordinary lanyards get stuck in our clothing material and damage them especially if they happen to be delicate ones.

i was asking the same to a friend watching with me earlier this season. apparently, according to him, they are a hoaky trend amongst ball players right now (you’ll notice a few people on other teams wearing them too). They have magnetized titanium in the threads and superstitious and confused ball players think that removes bad energy or some such thing. kind of like those metal, nondescript, silver colored bracelets that were magnetized and had the two balls on the unclosed end that executives liked to wear in the late 90s and early 00’s.

I have to have 2 keys with me at all times & a couple cards (an ID badge, an electronic key card, etc etc). I’m trying to find a way to carry them all without losing them and not have to have a lanyard around my neck. Any ideas would be welcome. Thank you.

Scrubs have pockets. Put them in your pockets and pin the ID badge to your shirt.

I’ve seen tips that say you should get one for your tickets, fastpasses, room keys, visa cards, photo cards, etc. Is it safe to carry your visa in one around your neck? Is it really more convenient that putting that stuff in a purse or wallet?

OH heck yes. You have to get out your ticket out every time you get a fast pass. I also used it for my Disney photo pass. I got each of us one.

FYI- If you are staying at a Disney resort you ticket card is your room key. And you can use it to charged at any Disney park. I charged all our purchases to our room. Safer than having my Visa card with me.

he took one key from his key chain/lanyard that was around his neck and put it in a black colored draw, then he twisted it and brought out a pretty in pink LG shine, my mothers phone, it felt like forever since i had seen it, but in truth she was talking on it yesterday, when i asked who it was she made this face like she was suprised and didn’t know what to say, then she just said “no one, ive got to go” and hung up, then tried to act all motherly, anyway Officer Kent handed it to me and me and adam walked out with saying our goodbyes, the walk to the door was silent but we got in the car and i immeadietly started looking through my moms phone. I changed from her incomming to her sent and i looked through…..she was talking about me…. shes fine…i think shes still mad…her grades are excellent…soccer is better than ever…..then i got to the last one, and it killed me “im gonna give you her number it’s”, i couldn’t believe her THATS MY NUMBER WHAT WAS MS.DENISE GONNA DO WITH IT!, then i figured ive got her phone, lets find out, i went back into her inbox and i looked for texts with the same date around a 5 minuet time frame and i found it, i couldnt belive it as i read it i heard 2 holy shiz’s this time “i gave it to the boys they said they’d call…”

so they really did forget, about me, or they really didn’t care, but that wasnt the only thing on my mind…MY MOM TOTALLY BETRAYED ME, what a b****, that was wrong and not right in SOOOOO many ways, how could she? how could they? how could god?, how could carter? i could blame every single person, me for letting them get to me but…HOW? i was at a loss for words i was flabbergasted, i was so angry, more angry than ive ever been and so sad, more upset then ive ever been, i was totaly ed off and everything i kept inside me for the last 10 years came out right now

By making a Lexan ( polycarbonate ) tongue depressor of a rather wide design I was able to video myself as I rode around town in Northfield today. The Lexan tongue depressor bolts to the base of the camera and does not interfere with my line of sight or vision on the road. An additional lanyard was attached to the camera and slung around my neck in case I lost my bite.

The big one is really hard and hurts really bad and popped up over night. I wear a lanyard at work and i just changed my shampoo so i dont know if it was an allergic reaction or what. i also tan. thanks

Honestly it looks like two little pimples to me. Clean the are and apply either a benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid treatment to them overnight. You’ll want to dry them out, and that’s the best way without damaging the skin.
