I lost my drivers license and I need to get a new one but I dont know what to bring for identification. I dont have a passport.

Normally you don’t need more ID because they have your photo and possibly your thumbprint on record…did they tell you to bring something? I would bring any ID I have, especially a school ID just in case…

What does a minor (17 years), who is traveling by themselves, need to show for identification at the airport?

*I’m flying with SunCountry if it makes a difference.

Despite having received a thumbs-down, Charlie’s answer is correct. In the US, passengers under the age of 18 do not need to show any form of ID in order to fly on domestic flights, according to the information on the page linked below. If you have any form of ID, it won’t hurt to bring it — even if it’s something like a school ID — but they’re not going to deny you boarding if you don’t have it.

Note that if you are flying to one of Sun Country’s international destinations (Mexico, Jamaica, or the UK), then you will be denied boarding if you do not present a passport.

In July I am going to California to visit colleges with my father, I do not know what papers/identification I will need to actually board the plane…I know it’s a stupid question but I really don’t know. Like my birth certificate, identification, social security card, passport, etc…?

You get a boarding pass at the desk where you book in, and that is all you want.

I was just wandering why we still use social security numbers, when the social security number system makes identity theft relatively easy. With the social security number system people can commit identity fraud if they just know the other persons social security number. There are more secure ways of identification like finger printing and checking a persons DNA to identify people. These two methods of identification would make identity theft virtually impossible because people can’t still another persons DNA or finger prints like they can with social security numbers. So why do we still use social security numbers as a means of identification?

cos it was the easiest way of keeping a count on the population [human resources] at the time to pay taxes the microchip is next

if we really are supposed to be equal and american. then why should it matter what one’s race is?

when filling out documents, why is it necessary to know my race or have some kind of statistic?

we are all american. we dont need to cater to once race anyways.

so why must we identify ourselves? especially when the options, are usually inaccurate? only few times, have i come across a "mixed with 2 or more races" option.

so is race identification, just holding us further back from equality?

I don’t get it either. Soon, it would be a thing of the past. The only purpose it may serve is for documenting in medical matter…because some races have higher or lower tendencies with particular diseases, like blacks are rated higher in risk for hypertension and some asians in B-12 def.anemia.

What physical method of identification was used in forensic science before fingerprint analysis?
Who was responsible for its development?
And what were its draw backs?

I have not been able to answer this question and would appreciate any help at all. Also it would be great if you could post the web site that you found this on so I can do a little more research. Thanks.

The Bertillon method was one…

Some have argued that DNA samples for pre-trial identification is a violation of their 5th Amendment right to be free from incriminating themselves. What do you think? Does the 5th amendment extend to DNA swabs?

Not if our legal system is indeed based on justice and not just loop holes and legal garbadegoog.

Can an identification made by a witness in a criminal mischief case be retracted by the witness? Thus leaving no facts against the defendant and the case being dropped?

usually not, the courts are very skepical of a witness changing their mind.

I need to go and get my Identification Card, but whenever I go to look up an address or anything it just comes up with random sites, with no information on the ID cards. Any help is beneficial.

Go to this site:
http://www.dmdc.osd.mil/rsl/owa/home
Use the search by "State" for Minnesota
You’ll find every ID card issuing facility in the state. I saw three in St. Paul.

well i dont know, how does that prove im 16?

You just answered your own question because you only have one ID, unless your planning on whipping up some good old fake IDs.

I’m a survival enthusiast and i love nature. I’m going to see if i can survive without any help or supplies, like food in the mountains of kentucky. I want a survival book to help me out and i just want the identification books for fun.

It’d be nice to have as accurate a book as possible, i mean for the location, because obviously a desert survival book won’t help much.

I have 2 rhode island red hens and I’d like a collar(not a collar but something like it) what can I use? I heard of leg bands or something? But I really don’t understand those because there so little, how could they possibly have any identification on them? Tell me what I can use pleaseeee. Thanks!
I feed them a variety of things along with their seed. I get the seed from this little shop that sells a lot of garden, and livestock stuff, and they even sell chicks bunnies and turkeys around Easter time[: I also feed them corn, bread, peas, and (sometimes) other things I have left over from dinner. It just depends on what it is.

you can also use yarn and make a little bracelet
for them in different colors to know who they are but make sure to get different colors not to tight they will grow

question for the asker where do you get your chicken feed from or do you just feed them corn

Its due to the formation of something which i don’t know. The reaction for the identification of fluorine will b really helpful.

it is due to the formation of HF which is associated to each molecule of HF by hydrogen bonding due to high electro negativity of flourine. this bonding is responsible for the turbid nature.

Next week I have an ESA medical assessment to go to and they said in the letter that I’d need to bring some information. As I don’t have a passport I need 3 pieces of identification, they suggested a birth certificate which I have but also other things like a bill or driving licence. I have neither. I was just wondering if anybody had any ideas, I had thought about a bank statement but that is the best that I can come up with.

maybe the letter stating you have to attend the work compatability assesment,, national insurance card,, you have the birth cert,, maybe other documentation like: solicitors letters, bank statements – you sometimes are asked to bring along medication you use (for the assesment (this normally has your name and address on the bottles/ packs)) — utility bills and such

I am making reservations for a 6 year old and an 8 year old. I will be traveling with them. They have no identification — other than birth certificates. Do we need to bring the birth certificates, something else, or not worry about it?

If you are the adult traveling with the children, they don’t need anything if they’re under 18, and traveling domestic. International travel will require at least a passport. Government-issued, valid photo ID is recommended for children, but if it’s not available, and a verified adult is traveling with the children, they are OK.

Hello,
I am a badge collector and am looking to add to my collection. I want to get a badge from a town I grew up in, but I cant get one made because every company says I need police identification. I saw there was a law posted that says collector badges may only be used for collection, and that is my sole purpose. Where can I go to get a custom badge made where I don’t need police identification, and that I can use for collection? Thanks!

Try talking to the police in that town? Possible they have something.

I’m trying to get a copy of my W-2 online with adp but I need my employee identification number, not employer number, but my own id number, without my checkstub? Where can I get that info?

If your employee ID number isn’t your SSN, you’ll have to ask at your job what it is. If it’s not your SSN, maybe it’s on one of your pay stubs.

This is not a traffic stop.
Do the police have to have a reason to ask for identification?
Is just verbally giving your name and address enough?
Is a federal photo ID enough such as your VA card with your photo on it?

As a Police Officer I can ask you for your identification during a consensual contact. Meaning I have no legal reason to detain you.
You can refuse.

If I a legal reason to detain you you have to produce identification or else I can take you to jail and let the Deputies figure out who you are.

Verbally giving your name and address does not work because you could say anything and believe it or not people lie!

Yes your VA card would be acceptable.

This is a term psychologists and psychiatrists use and on the surface it is kind of obvious. I find I am at a loss to explain it clearly and simply to our classes.

Identification With The Abusers,

like in the case of Patty Hurst.

i think it’s called the stockholm syndrome.

How would a prisoner (from an open prison) prove their identification to a new employer???? The Governor is hardly gonna hand over their passport?

I am asking on behalf of my aunty and she needs to know asap.

Thanks for your time guys
Here in the UK in an OPEN PRISON you are able to work outside of the prison.

This is also known as work release in class 1A minimum security prisons. The offender who is applying also has paperwork from the prison itself. They do not have total choice in their jobs while incarcerated ( an offender cannot work in a bar serving alcohol as an example). Secondary, the offender will also carry a state issued ID card from the prison system with their picture on it.

I hope this helps and you can find it useful

I am flying from Wilmington, NC to Philadelphia. I have no worries other than identification. What ID is required for me to fly? I will be flying with US Airways.
I am only 14, but flying as a 15 year old. Is this possible to accomplish?

Bring a drivers permit and if you dont have one get a state ID. I flew from Denver to London alone when i was 15 and that was all I needed but i got held up at immigration because i was a minor so make sure you have someone picking you up. Try to not check any bags because complicates the whole process.
