The following are clips from projects of Brian Walker. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Oregon for the class of 2006 with a focus on digital arts and documentary production. Brian has also been the coordinator for the U of O Department of Art annual film festival known as “The Explosion” (formally known as “The Animation Explosion”, as well as producer of the local cable access TV 29 program, “U of O Filmmaker’s Showcase”.
Brian’s deep personal commitment to promotion of media arts in the local community has led him to helping start the upcoming Eugene Film Festival. In addition he sits on the Media Arts Council at the Downtown Initiative for the Arts (DIVA). He as served the Maude Kerns Art Center as an instructor for three animation workshops. He also is a boy scout merit badge counselor for Cinematography Merit Badge.
He strives to further modern media’s status into the realm of the great arts, possessing the same lasting value as the age-old crafts of sculpture, painting, weaving etc. It makes sense that the artist of the day would thus use the materials of the day wether it be of stone, clay, electronic or otherwise.

We recently installed a new security setup at our offices. Now, everyone needs a key-fob to get in. Unfortunately, this has caused some problems. People tend to find it a hassle to get them out every time they come in the building. Security have also been moaning about having to let people in when they’ve left their key-fobs on their desk. Being the guy in charge of ordering, I was asked to see what we could get to help people out.
I had a look at what was on offer, and eventually settled on this product: http://www.compucardinc.com/Swivel-Back-Badge-Reels.html I noticed that you could get your company logo put on them, and so I called them up. They were very helpful, and the order arrived pretty quickly. I’ve certainly found it makes life easier, and I’ve noticed a lot of the other people at work using them too. I’d not thought about getting these until someone else suggested them, but now that I have them, I’d recommend them to anyone who needs them. It’s good for keys, ID or anything you need to hand.
