i say the blacks blame us for bringing them over here unjustly, then we should right a wrong and send them back.

I know that many women have traumatic births and would describe it as horrific and horrendous etc. but would most women say this, and if so why aren’t most women having to have counselling for trauma after having each baby? I have probably got tokophobia but then I am just living in fear all the time, and have all my life. I have been shut in a room on my own as a toddler and neglected, and then sexually abused by my brother in the room and then bullied and tormented by him and threatened with a knife. Compared to these things is labour as bad a trauma or as horrific as being sexually abused as a child for most women? I have had a fear of labour since I was a child probably because of women screaming in films and thinking that it is a terrible trauma like the trauma of being raped or having your world totally fall apart like mine did when my mum shut me away and left me to the devices of my older brother. My friends tried to help me by reassuring me about labour and none of them had very traumatic births, and I tried to reassure myself by thinking that people who had kidney stones often had the same amount of pain but they didn’t get fears and nightmares and trauma after, but now I think that labour is a major emotional trauma and even if kidney stones is as bad physically labour is much worse emotionally than having kidney stones or any other physical pain and that puts all the fear of emotional trauma back in my mind. It seems most women are terrified of birth and yet they are going along having the nightmarish horror each birth, and not needing extensive therapy. I spoke to a psychiatric nurse and she said that any other emotional trauma you would remember but not birth but that made me feel worse. If birth is as bad as say the experience of being sexually assaulted or being in a terrifying train crash and being trapped in twisted metal for hours, or being kidnapped with the threat of torture how do women just forget it because they are so happy they have the baby, surely they would need counselling too, and their mind would be reeling in trama despite having a baby. I read that many yummy mummy’s wear their horror stories like a badge of honour, do most mother’s feel that labour is a horror, like having been in a horror film, like the previous things I mentioned? Is it as bad for them as being sexually assaulted or the other things? I feel mocked by them because they are so proud they have suffered pain, but I have suffered horrors that I feel sure are far worse for my whole life and yet feel nothing but shame for having been polluted mentally physcally and emotionally.
I said that I think i suffer from tokophobia but it is only the fear of trauma. I read that other women think it’s disgusting, but I don’t feel that, things like blood, faeces and the idea of being pregnant don’t worry me at all.

Well I didn’t read all of that it hurts my eyes but in reference to your original question I can tell you that after a particularly painful or traumatic experience the brain releases a hormone that dulls your memory of it. So during childbirth if you asked a woman, ‘So when do you plan to have the next one?’ they would reply something along the lines of ‘Are you freaking crazy? Never again!’

But later when the hormone has kicked in they won’t remember the pain, although they will probably remember thinking ‘this is way too painful’, that isn’t as potent. So they’ll get pregnant again and not remember until they are giving birth again.

So at work when I got my ID Badge it came attached to this reel that automatically retracts a nylon cord. By design it keeps my badge attached to my pant waist but allows me to pull the ID up to a security sensor so I can access certain areas and then retract the cord returning the card to my waist. What are these little devices called?

This is my big scene from my first feature, Life in Excess. It’s a B&W movie, but I messed with the colours for Dan’s acting reel and think it looks neat. A little bit of background: my character’s been recovering from a bullet wound to the gut (he’s a bit seedy) but still hasn’t seen a proper doctor. Dan’s character is an undercover cop who is terrible at his job – a user with a badge, pretty much. My character knows Dan’s character is a cop, so he lures him around the corner to kill him. Unfortunately, my character’s really y, and it doesn’t go as planned. It kind of takes the fun out of this part if you haven’t seen it already – and you most likely haven’t – but take a look at the colours!

Well, here is my final project. I successfully completed the 3D Animation program at VanArts and got my Diploma.

All the work in the is mine except the Dog and Human rigs used. I did however add teeth, tongue and completely textured the Dog, and added blend shapes around the mouth and eyes. For the guards I used shaders and modeled their helmets, badges, belts, holsters and guns (The gun I modeled after Han Solo’s.) The ship, station, interiors, cat and mouse models/rigs are my own.

I created the scenes with Maya 7.0 and Adobe After Effects 6.0. The textures where created with Adobe Photoshop 7. I used Adobe Premier 6.5 for editting and to mix the voices and sound effects (downloaded from several free sound effects site on the web.)

The project took 3 months to complete starting from storyboards.

If your familiar with BONE THUGS N’ HARMONY, it’s common knowledge the group took a leap of faith in order make it in the music game. Boarding a bus bound for Los Angeles, they had a plan to get an audience with Eazy E and get signed to Ruthless Records. Though things didn’t go exactly as planned, they eventually made it happen. The rest is, as they say, history with Bone Thugs becoming the luminaries of hip-hop they are known as today. But — what if they never boarded that Greyhound? What if life spiraled in a different direction and interfered? What if that bus left without them and they never got out of Cleveland? Cleveland. 1993. Krayzie, Layzie, and Wish reel over the quality of their newest demo. They’re set for Los Angeles. Wish has just learned his girl is pregnant and Layzie gets an ominous threat from the drug dealer they all work for — KP. It’s all or nothing now. Wish is beside himself, wrestling with the responsibility of fathering a child and the need to follow his dreams. Krayzie needs this also, for his family, for himself. He knows he has the talent to take Bone to the next level, the problem is — he has to get out of C-Town. Layzie has hooked up with a Gia, a girl that means the world to him. Her father is an Internal Affairs detective and knows all about Layzie’s sordid past. However, Gia’s father is nestled deep in a case pertaining to the corruption of one Sgt. Strank. When he and Gia are gunned down in a home invasion, Layzie cannot go to LA. Krayzie and Wish have his back and decide to stay with him. With this sudden event all is lost. Bone Thugs N Harmony cannot survive the tragedy and break up to go their separate ways. Fast-forward six years. Layzie has replaced the mic for a badge. Following in Gia’s father’s footsteps, he’s become a cop. Choosing to investigate narcotics — he’s always had his girl’s unsolved murder is in the back of his head. Layzie is following leads for a new mix of heroin, which leads him to Mookie, a dead dealer found downtown. Wish picks up dead things. He works for the city and is charged with retrieving and transporting roadkill to the rendering station. He also acts as the middleman for the coroner and the police department. He picks up bodies. It’s a good gig, because no one gets in his way. He has a side business — trekking dope across town. Krayzie can’t seem to find the Promised Land. He continues to compose lyrics, but deals heroin to make ends meet. He is, in fact, the chief earner for his family. However, his opportunity to make it in the music game is long gone. Having to sit back as hack after hack finds success is truly taking a toll on him. It’s more ammunition for his lyrics. As the story amps up, the three continuously cross each other’s past without even knowing it. It seems in one way or another, fate will bring Bone Thugs back together. However, it turns out to be in the worst possible way. Each of them, in their own way, for their own reasons, gets involved in drug trafficking. Each of them needs what the other has. Each of them will stop at nothing to get it. In the end, the once close friends and band mates have guns trained on each other like mortal enemies. The only question left is who’s going to shoot first?

[Update] They end up coming to LA to try and meet Eazy, but by then they heard Eazy was performing back in Cleveland and were gonna go back to try and audition for him at the show. Although.. they never were able to make the trip back…

Now that we hold you tightly in our grasp, we would like to take a moment to cover the basics of what you will need to know to be a happy Help Desk technician.

Let’s begin by looking and timeliness. Uh-oh, looks like Michael didn’t show up to work on time today. And he didn’t call or e-mail ahead either. There’s only one punishment awaiting this tacky tardiness. That’s right, slaps to the face. Remember to report on time. If you plan to miss work, let a Help Desk staff member know as soon as you are able, preferably 48 hours in advance.

Now, let’s talk about dress. Don’t be a square; you need to dress comfortably but appropriately. Remember that you may be moving a computer in the dead of winter or hauling a CRT in 80% humidity. Wear clean clothes in good condition without offensive messages. Make sure it’s something you can move around in. And don’t forget, Uncle Sam loves a tidy beard.

To jazz up your wardrobe, every technician will receive a shiny ID badge. Wear your badge on every shift to avoid any mishaps.

Working at the Help Desk for free is great fun and definitely not looked down upon. However, if you are like most college students, you need a paycheck every month to pay off your debt and chill with your peeps. Be sure to get your time cards in on the 15th of every month unless an exception has been made.

Thank you for volunteering to watch this mandatory training reel. With these invaluable lessons, you will have users going gaga in no time.

There used to be a time when things were simple, doors were left unlocked and sometimes if necessary keys would be used to lock them. Then things got complicated, when really things were supposed to be simplified. The idea behind a proximity card is quite genius actually, as corporate security controls the settings and as an employee you will only have access to the areas you are granted permission. This helps keep the outsiders out, but it also sometimes keeps the wrong people out. Point and case: forgetting the badge inside your office when going to the restroom and inadvertently locking yourself out of your office and also rendering your bathroom privileges. 

To keep things simple would be to wear your proximity card in such a way it can be easily accessed to get you through the necessary checkpoints. The swivel reel badge holder does just that, because when it’s not in use it can hang from your pants. It can however easily be pulled out and waved in front of readers, and then returned to its resting position. This is much easier than using a holder that is around your neck, which may require some interesting contorting of your body to place the card near the waist-level readers. The star Pokémon is Giratina, in it’s exclusive Origin Form which replaces Dialga & Palkia as the main Pokémon that is hunted by Team Galactic & captured at the Spear Pillar.

Pokémon Platinum will feature much of the same content and features as Diamond & Pearl including WiFi, Pal Park Migration and Sinnoh in all its glory. However, on top of everything familiar, there will be loads of new features like the Battle Frontier and Frontier Brains (Not the same ones mind you) and the game you can play online in the new Wifi Square. These mini-games are called; Swalot Plop, Mime Jr. Top & Wobbuffet Pop.
