If not, can I buy a used color photo ID card system or ID card printer for about $100?
You can print an ID card using an Epson inkjet printer that prints directly to CDs & DVDs. However, you will need to buy an ID tray and inkjet 30 mil PVC ID cards. You can buy both on eBay, Amazon.com, and make-id-cards.com. With the tray said printer would be a color photo ID card printer or ID card system.
You might buy a used color photo ID card printer for about $100 if you buy a used Epson R280 printer, ID tray, and ID cards seperately.
www.worwind.com will sell color photo ID card systems for under $200.

Depends on what kind of ID your printing, if it is just a paper id card your going to laminate then i dont see why not…
if your looking to print on a plastic badge type id card then you will need a special printer and they are any where from $350-$12,000…..
hope this helps out a little bit…

Sure as long as the size of the ID Card is one of the paper-sizes your printer is capable of printing on. Otherwise you will need to cut it down to the size you want.
