I have a question concerning this issued-photo ID card process. Once you apply for the first time, How long it will take to get it in the mail?
I have exactly 2 weeks before my citizenship interview, I dont have a driver’s license, only green card and passport for ID purposes.
I know David, I agree with you but I dont understand why they want this ID card apart from the green card.
You cut it pretty close, but last time I got mine it arrived a week later.
It’s just a guess, but maybe they want you to get it so that you’ll have a second form of identification after you complete the citizenship process and the greencard is no longer valid?

It can take 2 to 4 weeks to receive the card in the mail.
By the way, a passport and a green card are valid forms of ID
