2 usb ports, 1 printer port. would like to hook up multiples to the printer port b/c usb evidently wont wok through my wireless network. any ideas? id like to connect 5 printers of different configs. tyvm in advance

First off, purchase a USB hub to expand the number of available ports.

Second, depending upon the number of parallel printers, purchase some USB to parallel adapters, one for each parallel printer after the first, which is connected to the printer port. Remaining printers that use USB connections can be connected directly to the USB hub.

Share each printer, and voila! 5 shared printers.

Another (more expensive) option is to purchase print server devices (Netgear, HP JetDirect, etc.) and connect the printers to them. This will save the overhead of managing the print queues on the server if the server is being used for anything else.
