I have no previous photo ID’s, except for a high school student card that has my name and my grade on it. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
I need the photo ID to cross American borders and get back into Canada.

According to the Passport Canada website, if you go to a passport office and apply in person you can get a passport in about 2 weeks. Be prepared to stand in line, it may take all day.

depending where you live, if theres PT, you can get a bus pass or something with your picture on it.

then you’ll need a passport. I’m not sure how long it takes to make one but probably a few weeks.

itssoeasy is wrong about one thing – it will not take a couple of weeks to obtain a passport but a couple of months.

You would be much better off obtaining a passport anyway. In the interim, a driver’s license or birth certificate would probably work.
