There is absolutely no reason I can see that they won’t work together. I hope your friend also gave you the power supply cables, since it is a very good modular power supply. It will easily run that whole rig.

There is absolutely no reason I can see that they won’t work together. I hope your friend also gave you the power supply cables, since it is a very good modular power supply. It will easily run that whole rig.

PS’s are designed to fit most any computer…the less expensive ones might not have enough power cables for what you need, like SLI for example…is your computer in waranty because if so and you open the case…no more waranty…
The card you have says 250 minimum PSU…but the site you give does not list the PS of that computer…suggest you go directly to Gateway site to find out the PS that’s supplied/w the computer first…then go to this site to see if you may have enough A already B with the new one and
(don’t completely trust the site…I like to add at least 50W to whatever they say and like 100W for things like SLI)
The PS won’t mess up your computer…thats what they are made for to replace a burnt out one or upgrade the old one for additional equipment that you plan to use…the rated amount of power for the PS doesn’t mean that it pushes that amount of Watts into your system…it means that it can supply up to that amount…but remember the waranty
