it doesn’t even have to be a drivers license, just a photo id. can you use your tax id number to get a photo id? thanks!
no rude answers, please.
ps. if this is in a totally different category than it should be, i apologize, i had no idea where to put it.
you can get a state ID with a birth certificate and a passport or other form of ID, when I took a bunch of teens to the DMV for state IDs they showed their birth certificates and school ID’s, anything that is National recognized,
you can call them in the morning, they may take a car title or medical records, something from college or HS, maybe a diploma?
I live in a back state though, so our laws are a little more easy I think then others, but if you call, just ask what 2 forms can you use?
I do know it has to be 2, not one,
a birth certificate great, but they really want something with a picture/photo on it.
Good Luck, you really do need one, of some kind. God Bless, hope you find out.

no. Even though the Social Security numbers aren’t used on licenses and ID’s anymore, you have to have a number. Mothers who just gave birth fill out their children’s applications right in the hospital. You need to apply if you don’t have one. This is so they know you aren’t an illegal alien.
In order to work, drive, and get a passport, you must have a SS number.

I had to have an SSN to get my ID renewed- but I was issued a different number on the ID to prevent identity theft.
