How do I get a new photo ID card from the DMV? Mine expired, but I have original.?

It’s a non-driver photo ID card. Will I need birth certificate, and all that stuff, or will they just issue me a new one since I do possess the expired one? Somehow I think they might make the process as annoying as possible. :o P I’d like to be prepared. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

It really depends on where you live but I would recommend that you take your birth certificate along with your expired one ID……
