I need help really badly, I want to know how to collect fingerprints and then use the fingerprint reader in my laptop for identification and comparison. I know its impossible in most cases but it is possible if the print is left on a glossy surface or so. Please Tell me how to then use the fingerprint reader in my laptop to store the print.
Thanks in advance,
To be able to identify someone by fingerprint, it has to be able to compare the fingerprint with one it has in its files. It has to give you an option to give it fingerprints for its files. But it wants you to stick the person’s finger in the fingerprint reader to do that.
So, what you’re really asking, is how to use a fingerprint on a glossy surface in place of the fingerprint reader. The answer is that you need a different kind of fingerprint reader for that, and the software has to recognize that fingerprint reader and use it instead of the one it expects. You probably need both more expensive software and a much more expensive fingerprint reader.
In other words, what you want to do is going to be expensive.
Meanwhile, you can go to Wikipedia to learn a lot about fingerprints:

You will either need sophisticated finger-reader hardware, or highlight the fingerprint and photograph or scan the print.
