This is my big scene from my first feature, Life in Excess. It’s a B&W movie, but I messed with the colours for Dan’s acting reel and think it looks neat. A little bit of background: my character’s been recovering from a bullet wound to the gut (he’s a bit seedy) but still hasn’t seen a proper doctor. Dan’s character is an undercover cop who is terrible at his job – a user with a badge, pretty much. My character knows Dan’s character is a cop, so he lures him around the corner to kill him. Unfortunately, my character’s really y, and it doesn’t go as planned. It kind of takes the fun out of this part if you haven’t seen it already – and you most likely haven’t – but take a look at the colours!
