YORK, Pa., April 30, 2009 -- DENTSPLY International Inc. today announced sales and earnings for the three months ended March 31, 2009. Net sales in the first quarter of 2009 decreased 9.6% to $506.9 million compared to $560.8 million reported for the first quarter of 2008.
