Holy !@#%! No sh*t Sherlock! I know there is no chip implant at the fair. Did you not watch the video I made? I obviously know CHIP is an acronym. I was replying to your quote to “ID the body”. IDing the body would entail getting a CHIP in the body, as in MICRO-CHIPPING! Your last response truly shows how clueless you are on the subject.

In this case there is no implant! You are looking at the name of the program and uming it is something else!
In this case “CHIP” is an acronym for Child Identification Program. There is no implanted computer chip involved.
It’s too bad you were too spooked by the name to bother learning any facts about the program.

Also…just a …
Also…just a little tidbit of education here.
That we in this country now have dogs that are saliva track trained. What that means is the dog can track you based on a saliva sample. That is the other key part to the teeth impression..isn’t so much the impression, but the amount of saliva. That scent remains for a long time and it is a pure scent..not a mix of your laundry soap, family pets, etc.

A disc that we already made copies of. We also carry pictures, dress her in bright colors, etc. It only took her one time getting separated from us at an event that had thousands of people and a park that she knew well. She would not look like a lost child. She has no fear/danger of anything. SO yes, I will take the precautions I need to and for the record…we do have a line in the sand. I will NOT have her microchipped like a dog.

Actually you do not know me from Adam. I had reasons for having this done. I have 5 children and actually only had one do it. That would be my special needs 10 year dd who has a very limited speech. I also realize the chance of my child being kidnapped is rare if God forbid it happens..I do not want police time wasted going through hours of family video trying to find 2 minutes of useful footage to get out. I now have that disc that I can hand them.

And that means getting the CHIP implant. People are already willingly doing that very thing and those people are naive and uninformed. I suggest you look into the dangers and consequences of getting chipped.

Unfortunately, I don’t think any ID program will help if a child is kidnapped, only to ID the body.
What jemek needed, and got, was a record of her tiny 10yo with speech difficulties. The child has a tendency to wander and this is just another tool to safeguard her – not the only tool and certainly not to be used in place of supervision. Jemek is not an idiot, but a practical mom!

I’m not jemek, but I’m her friend.
After hearing her description, yeah, we could do this at home — well I could. I have all of the equipment except for the teeth impression stuff.
There was no personal info “given away” They only asked for the child’s name.
The recorded interview with the child included asking her name, age, about any allergies, & favorite color. That was to see the child interacting and it went home with the parent.

Actually I think the public school system is doing a much better job at this programming children then the 5 minutes or soit took to have this done. Sure I could have gone to the store and bought a camera, fingerprint kit, etc.
But this was much easier. I take since you do not have big brother helping you…do you live off the grid?

(Part 1) Jemek64, What you don’t know is that I use this video in conjunction with a Bellingham Herald article. I posted them together on my blog and on other websites. I’m not hiding anything. And the fact that they give the information back to the parents is inconsequential. You are being conditioned into giving away personal information to the “authorities” so they can “protect” you.

Well nothing like …
Well nothing like leaving out a KEY DETAIL…
Like all the FACT that all the records were sent with the parents. The police departments did not keep ANY of it…they did not keep the fingerprint card, q-tip swaps, the dental impression or the little CD with the interview that just ask the child the basic questions. I attended this fair and had my kids done. I have all of the stuff, in our fireproof box.
